Golf vs Oxford, 6 November 2023

The annual golf match against Oxford alumni was held at Manly Golf Club on Monday 6 November. Each side fielded four players.

Three matches were all square on the 18th tee - a very close result. Cambridge was victorious 3.5 to 0.5. A celebratory dinner afterwards was held in Mosman.

The individual results were:

  • Lindsay McNeil defeated Lynne Pressley 1 up
  • Chris Golis defeated Robert Laurie 4 and 3
  • Richard Lyon defeated Phil Harris 1 up
  • James Balfour halved with Charles Thorburn

Cambridge retains the 'President's Cup' for another year.
